St. Mary's Anglican Church

Kidlington Voice Churches
St. Mary the Virgin is the Anglican Parish Church for Kidlington. The building dates from 1220 and is known for its fine medieval glass and ancient woodwork.

ABSTRACT. This year, Palm Sunday fell on 9 April, and the date marked the 100th anniversary – to the day – of the death of Raymond Judge, who lost his life fighting with the Canadian forces at Vimy Ridge during the First World War. His body was never found, but he is remembered both on the Vimy Ridge memorial, and on Kidlington war memorial.

Hampton Poyle's Anglican Church

St. Mary's at Hampton Poyle is one of Kidlington's Anglican Churches. It is a small 13th century church with some interesting monuments relating to the Poyle family and it has a beautiful mediaeval stone screen set into one wall.


St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church

St. Thomas More Roman Catholic church is built adjacent to St. Thomas More's Catholic Primary School. Both are sited on the Oxford Road, Kidlington.


Baptist Church

Kidlington Baptist Church. On 5th November 1966 came the dedication and opening of the church's modern premises in Kidlington's High Street.
