KIDLINGTON AND DISTRICT COMMUNITY FORUM 2020
NEXT PUBLIC MEETING
7.30pm Monday 8th June 2020 at Thames Valley Police HQ Kidlington.
THAMES VALLEY POLICE
is represented in our local Community Forum so to engage directly with villagers on matters of common concern in respect of upholding Law & Order in our district area.
What is meant by engagement between Police and the local Community?
If you are planning to attend the next meeting of the Community Forum,
you may find it helpful beforehand to read how and why the College of Policing instructs members of the Police Service in matters relating to Community Engagement.
In addition to members of the police force, our own District Community Forum typically comprises people who are also involved in local organisations such as Neighbourhood Watch, Parish Councils, and Age UK.
But what about actual crimes reported in our own local area?
The Police Force publishes an open register of crimes under investigation. You can explore our local crime map here: Crimes Reported in the Local Area: OX5.
If you would like your own community group to be represented at Forum meetings usually held in Kidlington, or if you would like to attend as an individual resident of one of the villages in our region,
then please contact the Community Forum using the email address below.
The Community Forum invites participation from these neighbouring villages:
Kidlington | Begbroke | Yarnton | Gosford & Water Eaton |
Hampton Poyle & Hampton Gay | Bletchingdon | Kirtlington | Shipton-on-Cherwell | Thrupp | Islip | Weston-on-the-Green |
Oddington | Charlton-on-Otmoor | Merton | Fencott & Mercott | Horton-cum-Studley.
You can reach the Community Forum by email to: kidlingtonNHPT @thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk
If you wish to remain anonymous in any policing matter, you can contact the independent charity 'Crimestoppers' by telephone: 0800-555-111.
