ARTICLE Lincroft Meadow Care Home 2026

Residents and staff at Lincroft Meadow Care Home are delighted to share an image of their fabulous new knitted meadow — now proudly on display at the front of the home.

The stunning piece has been created by the Kidlington WI Knit and Natter Group. The talented group have been busy since February 2026, making over 500 individual knitted items and then sewing them onto a canvas large enough to be seen from the top of Lincroft's driveway!

The bespoke work contains a wonderful collection of knitted daisies, buttercups, poppies, cornflowers, stems, white campions, butterflies, and bees. The home's residents also knitted some lovely pink campions to add to the colourful display. It has been a real pleasure to get to know the lovely ladies who worked so hard to create this for us. We are absolutely delighted with the result. Lincroft says: Thank you very much to everyone involved!
